VR Journalism Study Abroad

Working with the UNC Hussman School of Media and Journalism we brought our expertise in 360/VR filmmaking to the front lines of climate change - Bocas del Toro, Panama.

Documenting coral reefs, endangered species and disappearing islands in virtual reality in partnership with The Weather Channel, we were able to take our audiences with us to one of the most stunning ecosystems on earth.

All of this while eager journalism students were learning cutting edge filming techniques and the backend technology that makes VR filming work.
