Panama's Changing Climate

The islands off the coast of Panama are a paradise for tourists and a home for few, boasting vast, complex reef systems that make the place so alluring. But the islands are experiencing the very real changes caused by a warming climate and pollution.

Partnering with UNC Chapel Hill and, Boundless dove into (literally went scuba diving) the story to share what climate change looks like in Central America and how these islands are coping with their source of income, tourism, being so detrimental to the habitat they love.
